In the last 6-8 months I've had absolutely zero passion for art or literature, and it's not for lack of trying. Every time I find an inspired cell in my body, it is promptly destroyed by the toxic air of this adult life that I'm still doing my best to run away from. Broke, jobless, rebellious, single, irresponsible, and disappointing sound like the hallmark traits of a 21st century artist (or really, any artist for that matter...). The truth is, all they make me is a loser, eating his laughs at the adults before him, who too once wondered: "where did it go?" I find myself stuck in a weekly cycle of self affirmation and resolve that steadil
